Bridget K. Devoy, JD, MSc

Bridget K. Devoy, Chief of Staff of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), is a governance and regulatory leader with experience across public health institutions, healthcare organizations, philanthropy, and mission-driven enterprises. In her role at HHS, Bridget oversees strategic operations, policy coordination, and organizational management across OASH’s national public health portfolio, working closely with the Assistant Secretary for Health to support the execution of cross-cutting federal health priorities and interagency initiatives.

Prior to joining HHS, Bridget advised private foundations, public charities, hospitals, educational institutions, and other tax-exempt organizations on governance, regulatory compliance, and domestic and international grantmaking. She frequently served as outside general counsel to clients, guiding organizations through launch, growth, and institutional transformation. Bridget previously served as general counsel at a national children’s charity and as assistant general counsel at a major entertainment studio.

Bridget holds an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, a law degree from Harvard Law School, and master’s degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Vienna, and New York University School of Law. 

She is active in her local community and is particularly passionate about helping organizations focused on foster youth, animal welfare, and the arts.
