Agenda Update

We are excited to see you at the first ever HHS National Conference on Women’s Health! The conference will take place from the afternoon of March 11th through the morning of March 13th. A more detailed schedule of panels and speakers will be shared in the coming days, but here is a preview of what to expect:

Wednesday

  • Registration begins at 1pm.
  • Doors open at 4pm. The conference will begin with a welcome reception from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, that will include poster abstracts, opening remarks, a dynamic panel and networking opportunities. This will be a great forum to connect with friends and colleagues and meet new collaborators.

Thursday and Friday

  • On Thursday, registration will open at 7am. The conference will start at 9am and conclude around 6pm. 
  • On Friday, registration will open at 7am. The conference will run from 9am and conclude around 1pm. 
  • We have lined up a day and half of panels and keynotes featuring preeminent practitioners, researchers, and policy leaders.
  • Panel topics include:
    • Accelerating Transformative Women's Health Research
    • Addressing Chronic Conditions in the Evaluation of Infertility
    • Menopause, Hormone Health, and Longevity
    • Microbiome, Inflammation, and Women’s Health
    • Innovation in the Private Sector: The Next Decade in Women’s Health
    • Transforming Outcomes in Maternal and Infant Health
    • Environmental Exposures and Chronic Disease in Women

    • Chris Klomp – Chief Counselor of HHS, Deputy Administrator of CMS and Director of Medicare
    • Vonda Wright, M.D. – Orthopedic Surgeon and Author
    • Jay Bhattacharya, MD, Ph.D. – Director of the NIH
    • Roberta Brinton, Ph.D. – Director of Center for Innovation in Brain Science, University of Arizona Health Sciences
    • Marty Makary, M.D. – Commissioner of the FDA
    • Alicia Jackson, Ph.D. – Director of ARPA-H 
    • Asima Ahmad, M.D., MPH – Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Carrot

Registration and Security

We strongly encourage you to arrive early to allow time for credential pickup and security screening. The venue has an extensive security process in place, and you will be subject to security screening each time you enter the meeting space.
