Call for Abstracts

Submitted abstracts may be considered for oral presentations during breakout sessions or for poster presentations. Posters will be organized by topic, and designated poster sessions will be provided in the Conference schedule for poster presenters to discuss their work with interested participants. 

Before submitting, please review the points below.

  • Abstracts must be submitted via this online submission portal. Abstracts sent via e-mail will not be accepted.
  • There are four abstract tracks to select from.
  1. Preventing and Reversing Chronic Diseases in Women and Girls
    • Abstracts that address preventing and/or reversing hypertension, diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, and lipid disorders.
  2. Addressing Sex as a Biological Variable in Physical and Mental Health
    • Abstracts that address the role of sex as a biological variable by including females in human and non-human clinical studies, disaggregating data by sex to determine sex-based influences on physiologic or pathologic processes, and/or advancing preventive, diagnostic, and treatment approaches, such as medication and devices, which may be distinct for females and males.
  3. Understanding the Female Cycle as a Vital Sign
    • Abstracts that address the role of the female cycle as a critical indicator of optimal health to improve time to diagnosis for underlying conditions such as ovulatory dysfunction, thyroid disease, hypothalamic amenorrhea, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
  4. Optimizing Health during Menopause
    • Abstracts that address advances in the science of reproductive aging and hormonal changes, including management of vasomotor, genitourinary, and musculoskeletal symptoms; cognitive changes, mood disorders, and quality of life in midlife women; personalized and integrative approaches to menopause care, cardiovascular, metabolic, bone, and muscle health in the postmenopausal years; hormone therapy (including evolving guidelines, patient selection, and safety); non-hormonal therapies, lifestyle interventions, and/or digital health tools; and surgical menopause and menopause following cancer treatment.
  • Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • No figures or tables may be included in abstract submissions.
  • The presenting author of the abstract must be registered for the conference. 
  • Each registrant may submit only one abstract for consideration.
  • The same abstract cannot be submitted by more than one registrant. 
  • HHS reserves the right to accept abstracts for oral presentation, accept them for poster presentation, or decline a submission.

Important deadlines

  • To be considered for an oral presentation, submit your abstract by 11:59 PM, November 14, 2025.
  • To be considered for a poster, submit by 11:59 PM, January 15, 2026.
  • Oral presentation acceptances will be sent out in mid-December 2025.
  • Poster acceptances will be sent out by the first week of February 2026.
